Pathways To Success: A Seminar For Men

On Saturday, June 22, 2019 Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblyman Herb Conaway and Assemblywoman Carol Murphy will jointly host “Pathways to Success – A Seminar for Men” at Rowan College Burlington County in Mount Laurel. The event will take place in Votta Hall and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Working collaboratively with our community and academic partners – Magnificent Men Mentoring Group, UIH Family Partners, and RCBC – we have set-up workshops that will provide men of any age with practical and useful information.

The timeline for the event will be as follows:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. — FREE breakfast, registration and networking
  • 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. —Welcome remarks and panel discussion
  • 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Workshops (You will be asked to select two to attend)
  • 12:30 p.m. — “Dress to Impress” Closet to select a like-new suit,  if desired

You will be asked to choose two of the following workshops to attend:

  • Start It Up! How to start or grow a small business
  • You’re Hired! Getting the job you want
  • Protect Yourself! Know your legal rights
  • Money Matters! Financial planning and money management
  • Dads to Dads! Conversation on fatherhood and parenting
